Fast Hosting

As a member of the UXtf.us User Experience (UX) Task Force, we have access to Scary-Fast Hosting with Google AMP compliance providing exceptional user experience via their internet-connected phone, tablet or mobile device. Creating a professional website is like designing a business promotional brochure. Graphics, text, photos and video are all assembled and reassembled until the perfect message is displayed on the page.

Creating your website includes hosting (or serving) your brochure message to a broad audience or very specific niche, using the power of the internet. Hosting literally means creating a computer with a massive high-speed internet connection that will serve as a Host for your branded message. This new host computer does nothing but serve your completed message to any and all visitors, every second of every minute of every hour—24 hours a day—without fail.

Your new website’s host computer will reside in a temperature-controlled, secure bunker and will be cared for by alert and highly skilled computer technicians. If a problem ever does occur, it will be resolved before you knew it was an issue. WireBuilt is extremely proud of our 99.98% Uptime Reputation.

Web Design

Our team consists of talented people who create beautiful, inspired logos and graphics to define, support and promote your business brand. The professionals who work with the User Experience Task Force (UXtf.us) combine the same artistic talent and tools to craft engaging, compelling graphics and written content with the understanding that such work has to play well on the internet and occasionally in situations with limited or very poor mobile device internet speed.

Such customers can become frustrated and impatient. Research indicates that mobile users will often not wait longer than 3 seconds before moving on to a competitor’s site.

An AMPed World  Google has clearly identified the challenge and has created a new mobile-friendly world called AMP:

Graphics must load quickly in order to be seen and that’s why Google has provided us AMP (Accelerate Mobile Page) capabilities.

UXtf.us professionals recognize that the AMP standard not only increases the quality of the Mobile User’s Experience, but it could represent an opportunity to help our clients achieve preferential status and recommendation from Google. This could translate into opportunities for new customer acquisition and extra top-line revenue. Clearly a win-win proposition!

Social Media

Millions and millions of people clearly understand that the word internet and the word Facebook mean exactly the same thing. The only large group of people who differ from that reality are the ones who spend their day on Twitter and Instagram. The primary thing that unites these huge groups is the knowledge that all of the world is connected by an iPhone and WiFi.

If you are not part of this group, or if all of this makes you feel old and out of touch, as a business person, you need to be concerned about your internet and/or digital marketing presence. Reaching your audience most probably involves some degree of social media. Achieving “authority” and a page rank higher than three, certainly requires “social signals” indicating that users want to share your website content with others.

For many, social media is a double-edged sword. The desire to be “Liked” can drain the two most limited and valuable resources that a small business has: time and attention. The reason your business exists is to make money and serve people. You started your business because you have the secret sauce that rings the register. Getting “Liked” or “Followed” does not ring the register unless you have made it convenient and compelling to engage with you.

Your social/mobile website must make a clear and compelling case to engage. Careful integration with social media is part of any complete digital marketing strategy, and talented experts from the User Experience Task Force (UXtf.us) provide cost effective guidance to ensure you are well Liked, well connected and profitable.

Programming

Many business processes can be automated, controlled or enhanced by interaction between your staff and/or your clients and the website you have created. Any customized, unique or special functions that would provide additional value to your clients, make your staff more productive and open new markets for your products and services should be discussed as part of the overall website project. WireBuilt custom programming can create magic and spin that magic into elegant solutions to problems.

The ProcessThe Process

Under no circumstances will we disrupt your existing website or announce planned changes to your competitors. The entire development will be cloaked and located under the agreed-upon unpublished domain name, visible only to your team and ours.

When we feel that we understand your business, your marketplace and your expectations clearly, we will create a proposal that will allow us to polish, tweak and clarify our understanding of your needs and expectations.

Upon agreement of the proposal scope of work and terms, you will receive two additional documents:

  1. A signable Internet Presence Agreement (IPA) that protects you and clarifies ownership of any and all intellectual property, such as domain names, graphics, written content and backlinks in the event that our business relationship ends.
  2. A Project Control Document (PCD) that clarifies expectations and provides a source of communication and continuity for project progress.

Deposit and Payments

  1. The signed IPA may be faxed or scanned and emailed.
  2. A good-faith deposit of 20% may be paid by check, mailed to us or paid with a PayPal account or credit card through PayPal, depending on client’s preference.

Domains, Substantial Completion and Cutover

Once the IPA is signed and deposit received, we provide this support:

  1. We register and provision your “parallel domain” as a behind-the-scenes workspace while creating your website. The domain is typically designated as a .us or .mn (in Minnesota) site and may be maintained and advertised if the domain name is deemed advantageous to your business and online audience.
  2. Your PCD will remain live, secure and collaborative to detail the minimum expectations of the project and will include details of the progress with initialed and dated comments. Course changes and milestones will be noted for future reference and instant access for all team members. This document will contain all links and resources necessary to engage, manage and execute the project as defined. The PCD continues for the life of the relationship and provides a permanent critical reference.

Security and Ownership

Under no circumstances will we disrupt your existing website or announce planned changes to your competitors. The entire development will be cloaked and located under the agreed-upon unpublished domain name, visible only to your team and ours. This will be the process until everyone agrees that we have reached Substantial Completion and the Cutover Date and Time is determined.

Typically, the Cutover will be scheduled on a Friday at 5:01pm local time so that any issues that might surface will have the weekend to propagate and debug. On the following Monday at 8am, you will have a new dominant presence on the internet.

SEO—A Never-Ending Process

We focus our efforts on ensuring competitive visibility, starting with a strategic, memorable and short website domain name. Part of the job of the PCD is to establish a pool of CTR (Current Target of Relevancy) organic keywords. Combined with ongoing SEO hygiene and backlink campaigns, the pursuit of authority never ends, even when supplemented with limited, controlled PPC (Pay Per Click) campaigns to deliver speed as needed.
